Victoria Police could soon charge Dimitrious Gargasoulas with a sixth murder, after another victim of the Bourke Street rampage lost their life.
A 33-year-old woman died in hospital on Monday night, becoming the sixth fatality after Gargasoulas allegedly drove through Melbourne's CBD, mowing down and injuring dozens of pedestrians on January 20.
Police say Gargasoulas has "other charges pending" on top of his five murder charges.
Ten people remain in hospital recovering from their injuries, with one still in a critical condition.
Meantime the City Of Melbourne will start work today to remove to floral memorial in Bourke Street, with plans to mulch the flowers.
