An Indonesian movement against narcotics believes convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby should put her story to good use, as an anti-drugs spokesperson.

The group known as 'GANNAS' has suggested once the Gold Coaster is deported back to Australia, she should encourage other holidaymaker's not to make the mistakes she did and broadcast how "lucky she is" to have dodged the death penalty.

"Corby was lucky to get that (original 20-year sentence) so Corby should tell that to the people in Australia," said GANNAS Chairman Nyoman Adi Peri.

The group have also called for Corby to be banned from returning to Indonesia within the next 10 years and believe her original sentence should have been a lot harsher.
