As Sunday gets closer, it's clear that we are proud of our Cowboys and aren't afraid to show it!
Whether you've spotted Cowboys flags flapping on cars, houses with homemade signs hanging from the fence, or that guy at the Newsagency wearing his Jersy every day this week- you can definitely tell our Cowboys are in the 2017 NRL finals.
This morning some lucky fans in the CBD wore their Cowboys colours with pride alongside the CEO Greg Tonner and our Mayor Jenny Hill.
“The team have endured an unprecedented challenge of injury this season, but have persevered and got to the finals for the seventh year in a row,” Cr Hill said.
“Their courage and teamwork is unmatched and they deserve the whole community’s support.
“Come on Townsville – let’s get behind our boys and show them how passionate Townsville fans really are.”
The Cowboys have chartered a plane for diehard fans to see the game live in Sydney on Sunday but those unable to make the flight can catch the game on big screens in venues all over the city – including the club’s official venue, the Cowboys Leagues Club.
