JT Supports Rugby League Head Injury Victim

He's endorsing the new headgear

JT Supports Rugby League Head Injury Victim

In June 2015 James 'Ackers' Ackerman lost his life after being injured in a tackle during a Queensland Cup Rugby League game.

Since that time the 'Support for Ackers #8- The Ackerman Legacy' Facebook page has been inundated with support for Ackers' family, including his 2 young children.

Most recently, the Ackerman family has gained the support of the world's best Rugby League player, Johnathan Thurston.

On January 24 the page proudly posted JT launching the James Ackerman headgear.

"How do we ever thank him.... we are so extremely honoured to have this amazing man pictured wearing something that means so much to us, especially to James' younger brother Tom and James' parents who have worked extremely hard to bring this all together."- they wrote.

James was just 25 years old when he passed away.
