Maccas crews across town are about to up-skill themselves, thanks to the opening of Townsville's first ever McDonald's training centre.
McDonald's Corporate Communications Advisor Julia Buckland says it marks a significant investment in the local economy and education of the youth of North Queensland.
More than that, it will facilitate significant learning opportunities for people in Northern Queensland, not just for McDonald’s specific training, but for nationally recognised qualifications.
The centre will offer McDonald's courses that will perfect their staff's skills from barista training to management skills.
Certificate II and III in Retail will also be offered.
