Here's how to stress less
  1. Sip your stress away – with water that is! The connection between water and stress reduction is incredible. Our brains and organs need water to function properly so drink up to keep your body running effectively.
  2. Breathe deeply. The fact that every FitBit or other brand of ‘smart watch’ has breathing apps is not without reason. Being mindful about breathing has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and lessen anxiety.
  3. Exercise! You don’t need to be an athlete to get those endorphins pumping. All forms of exercise, including walking, can ease depression and anxiety by helping the brain release endorphins thereby giving your body a chance to practice dealing with stress.
  4. Everyone has their own form of relaxing. It could be reading or having a bevvy by the pool but whatever you choose to do make sure you enjoy doing it and give your body and soul time to unwind.
