Cr Hill said residents wishing to assist could make a donation direct to one of four nominated charities:

- The Salvation Army — 13 SALVOS (13 72 58) salvos.org.au

- UnitingCare Community — 3250 1900 www.uccommunity.org.au
“The Townsville community is notoriously generous and we know many locals have a close connection to the communities that have been affected. “These charities are trained to respond to the needs of communities hit by natural disasters and can provide food, equipment, shelter, and other support.”
Goods and services can also be donated to GIVIT through their website www.givit.org.au
