We love a dog story and it’s even better when it’s a local dog melting our hearts.
Townsville doggo, Karma on the weekend gave birth to 17 puppies, just three short of Australia's national record!
It’s believed this is the biggest ever litter of puppies in North Queensland history.
This was the 4-year-old's second litter and definitely her biggest of the two.
It was a long 33 hours of labour, with 15 of the 17 surviving.
Breeder Nikki Stanfield will continue to care for the cuddly creations until they are able to find forever homes at eight weeks old.
9News North Queensland covered the story on Tuesday night and we might just watch this video all day!
Will the story go on to be a case of '101 Dalmations'? That'd be hard work!
