June 30 is Red Nose Day. A day to fundraise for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and Kids. Funds raised through Red Nose Day activities assist SIDS and Kids in providing vital services and programs to the Australian community.
Baby boy Joshua Reinke, passed away this month at just 6 weeks of age from SIDS. To remember his precious life, there will be a morning tea at the Townsville Hospital on Friday.
Family friend Emma Priddle says they hope the fundraiser will help others.
"We are selling merchandise to raise funds to hopefully one day find an answer to this terrible cause that causes so much heartache to far too many families," says Emma.
