Fingers crossed he goes far!

On Sunday night 3 become 1, as we said goodbye to 2 of our North Queensland talents on the seventh season of The Voice Australia.

Kick starting the first episode of the live shows, was the announcement of which Wild Card act had received enough votes to join the live shows.

Sadly Homegrown did not make it through, but instead folk singer AP D'Antonio won the majority of votes.

The Charters Towers siblings have thanked their fans and family for their support during their Voice journey.

Later in the episode our hearts broke again when former Townsville boy Luke Antony didn't receive enough votes to keep him on the show.

He's looking on the bright side though, and is savvy about what is next for his career.

"My heart is bursting - I have learnt so much about myself and grown so much as an artist," Luke wrote on Instagram.

Despite the 2 losses, we still have a strong competitor in the field of talent and his name is Trent Bell (but you already knew that!)

Trent took to the stage with an Aussie pub classic 'Horses' which pleased his fans, getting him into the second week of the live shows.

Voting is OPEN now if you want to keep our Townsville talent on Team Delta, just download The Voice app to support Trent!
